Is Outlook moving too many messages to its junk folder? Here are some possible solutions
1. Turn Off Outlook’s Junk Email Filtering: Open Outlook. Go to Settings (gear icon in the top-right corner). Search for Junk Email in the settings search bar. Disable any additional spam filtering if there’s an option.
2. Whitelist Your Trusted Senders/Domains: Go to Settings > View all Outlook settings > Mail > Junk email. Under Safe senders and domains, add the email addresses or domains you trust.
3. Mark Emails as Not Junk: Navigate to your Junk Email folder. Right-click on any email incorrectly marked as junk. Select Mark as Not Junk. This action also trains Outlook.
4. Check Inbox Rules: Go to Settings > Rules and ensure no rules are inadvertently moving emails to the Junk folder.
5. Turn Off Focused Inbox (Optional): If Focused Inbox is enabled, it might misclassify emails. Go to Settings, search for Focused Inbox, and disable it.
