Whether you are hosting a web site with frogstar, or just your domain and email, our unique feature set, and personal support, keep our clients happy.  Options listed here may not be included with all mail package plans.

EMAIL OPTIONS

Unlimited forwarding alias addresses
Account access mail via POP, IMAP, or our web based mail server
Unlimited alternate spelling combinations for email addresses
Fast tech support to add/delete or change email accounts

Online Preferences to set/change:

• Do-it-yourself password changes (not forced)
• Email forwarding rules (temporary / permanent)
• Create auto-responders or "on vacation" messages
  catch-all accounts available to accept all domain email
• Incoming and Outgoing email is scanned for Viruses.
• Obvious SPAM is deleted before you see it
• All messages are filtered and assigned a SPAM probability score at the server.

Optionally, an email administrator can be assigned to each account that allows for user creation/editing without the assistance of frogstar support staff.

Frogstar uses the industry standard Linux SquirrelMail web based mail system.  All you need to know is your email address and email password.  A drop down menu appears at the top right of the screen with several self-configure options.

Change Your Password
When your email accounts were configured, you were assigned a default password.  You may change this password at any time, making it more easy to remember.  As a general rule however, you should try not to pick passwords that are easy to guess.  The world is filled with hackers that often attempt to gain access to other people's email simply by guessing passwords over and over.  You can change your password as often as you like, from the PASSWORD selection from the OPTIONS and STYLES menu. 

Note that Frogstar does not maintain a database of user passwords.  If you forget your email password, it can not be given to you over the phone.  The password can be reset to a new default by request.  Although this process is usually performed quickly, it can sometimes take up to 2 hours.
 
WebMail Styles
The new Web-Based email system also has one personal preference option that is 100% appearance based.  You can choose the design style and colours of the mail system from several preset themes.  Feel free to experiment and changes styles as often as the mood strikes you.  Your preferences will be saved for the next time you return.
 
Folders / Signatures / Contacts / User Info
All of these options are only applicable to email read online using the web based mail system.  If you manage your mail on your computer using a popular email client like Outlook Express or Eudora, then these options don't really apply to you.  Details and help for these items is available from the online HELP screens
